Chris Smith (Co-founder and MD)
Chris has been involved with PeopleSoft for some 16 years and was one of the first consultants involved in the product. Since then, he has developed a wealth of experience from working with clients such as HSBC.
Although Chris is the MD, he spends most of his time doing what he really enjoys - developing projects with major blue chip PeopleSoft users.
Mike Hirst (Co-founder and Director)
Mike’s expertise is in the areas of PeopleSoft Financials and Business Intelligence. He also has experience of working in Microsoft environments and with SQL Server.
Mike spends approximately half of his time in the field and has an in-depth relationship with BUPA and Wilkinsons.
Vince Blockley (Customer Services Manager)
Vince was an independent consultant for ten years, specialising in PeopleSoft and DBA. He joined Crocus in 2007 to build a client relationship operation to fulfil what he believes is missing in the marketplace: a complete technical and application on-demand service operation.
Vince now manages a team of fourteen, looking after the complete integrated service needs of 20 clients. As you can see from our Careers page, he is looking for dynamic expansion in the business.
Peter has been an Independent Director in the IT sector for ten years. Prior to this, he was Sales Director for PeopleSoft, where he was responsible for some of the largest UK, European and Global deals in the company’s history.
Previously, Peter had a successful ten-year career in general management and sales with market-leading software vendor, Multisoft. He has 25 years’ experience in the software business and an outstanding track record of delivering results in the most demanding and changing business environments.
Simon Coyle (Co-founder and Director)
Simon has been involved with PeopleSoft HR and Payroll for some 16 years and probably has a greater knowledge and experience in these areas than anyone else in the UK.
Simon is recognised as one of the leading experts in the PeopleSoft Global Payroll solution, probably the most complex payroll solution ever written.
Paul Grant (Co-founder and Director)
Paul has about 15 years’ experience in the Oracle marketplace, not only with PeopleSoft but also commercial experience with Oracle Databases, Oracle Business Intelligence and more recently the Document Management solution.
Paul took over the commercial direction of the business some three years ago and has built the reputation of Crocus in the marketplace and within Oracle.
Stephen has been an Independent Director in the IT sector for ten years. Prior to this, he was the European Vice President for PeopleSoft, responsible for launching the company throughout Europe. PeopleSoft is one of the success stories in the software industry and its European success was driven by Stephen.
Previously, Stephen was European Vice President for Dunn & Bradstreet Software. He has a 25 year track record of achievements in the software industry.
